The people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord to take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. Numbers 21:7

God of reconciliation and hope, we acknowledge that our sin has separated us from you. Forgive us, dear God, and restore our relationship with you that we may experience the peace that only you can give. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
