Elijah said, “How long will you go limping with two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him, but if Baal, then follow him.” 1 Kings 18:21
Jesus said, “You cannot serve God and wealth.” Matthew 6:24
Sometimes, O God, you ask us to make a choice. That is not surprising; we make choices every day. Some are easy; some are hard. The hard ones demand commitment and loyalty. They ask us to choose them and not you. Help us to always choose you. Amen.
