Thursday, June 13, 2024 — Psalm 76
Numbers 31:13–47; Luke 2:1–20
Moses said, “You must diligently observe everything that I command you; do not add to it or take anything from it.” Deuteronomy 12:32
Jesus said, “My teaching is not mine but his who sent me. Anyone who resolves to do the will of God will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own.” John 7:16-17
O Eternal Word, Jesus Christ, we give you thanks and praise for coming to us as the definitive expression of the will and ways of God. May you be for us the only trustworthy lens through which we seek to discern the will of God, for you are one with the Father and the brightness of God’s glory. Show us the Father, and we shall be satisfied. Amen.
