Thursday, June 4 — Psalm 72:1–11
Proverbs 26; 2 Corinthians 7:13b–8:9

You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Isaiah 54:14

His disciples came to Jesus and awoke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” But he said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. Matthew 8:25–26 (NKJV)

Many injustices take place every day in this world. God, make us strong in faith so that we can battle our fears and never doubt that you are always present to help us in our times of need. Amen.
