Thursday, March 17 — Psalm 37:7-15
Exodus 22:25–23:26; Matthew 24:26–35

Remember the long way that the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, in order to humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart. Deuteronomy 8:2

Jesus said, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:29

Nourishing God, almighty protector and provider, may we be so secure, so confident, so assured of your grace, as to bear your very likeness in our every act of mercy, blessing, and peace. Amen.
