The Lord is a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel. Joel 3:16
We who have found safety with him are greatly encouraged to hold firmly to the hope placed before us. We have this hope as an anchor for our lives. Hebrews 6:18-19 GNT
God of hope, we take refuge in your compassion. Help us to never value our safety more than our devotion to you. Give us the strength to fight the injustices of this world, and to free those who are oppressed. In your trustworthy name. Amen.
