You have granted me life and steadfast love, and your care has preserved my spirit. Job 10:12
You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful. James 5:11
Compassionate Father, thank you for holding us in your arms when we are in pain. Although we cannot avoid suffering in this life, we are comforted by your presence. Remind us to lean on you when we feel lost. Amen.
