When they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, is this the time when you will restore the kingdom to Israel?” He replied, “It is not for you to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority. Jesus, help us be ready for the day when you will restore your kingdom. You will rescue the lame and the exiles—and draw all people to yourself. In the meantime, help us to serve you here on earth and work to do your will. Amen.
