God of unity, help us to take our responsibility under the gospel seriously. Stir in us the desire to care for others as well as for ourselves. Give us the strength to respond like you when we find that the mission we once supported far away has joined us in worship. May our lives always be a reflection of your love. In Jesus’ name we pray.
