Tuesday, August 6, 2024 — Psalm 94:1–11
Joshua 14:6–15:19; Luke 14:25–35

God, on my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Psalm 63:6 NIV

Jesus Christ died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep we may live with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10

God of light and darkness, we are yours day and night, awake or asleep. May we greet each morning as a precious gift and look forward to the graces of the day, moments when we touch others with your love. May we close the day with confession, gratitude, and hope, trusting always in your presence. Amen.
