The Israelites said to the Lord, “We have sinned; do to us whatever seems good to you; but deliver us this day!” Judges 10:15
When the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy. Titus 3:4-5
O most merciful God, thank you for your gifts of grace and forgiveness freely given not because of what we have done but because of who you are. Help us to live more fully in the light of your love. Amen.
