Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Psalm 130:1-2
The blind man shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Those who were in front sternly ordered him to be quiet; but he shouted even more loudly, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Luke 18:38-39
O merciful Savior, too often our prayers are limited to times when we are in distress and call on you for help. May your Holy Spirit move within our hearts to call us to prayers of praise and gratitude for your goodness and blessing of our lives. Amen.
