As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there until they have watered the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth. Isaiah 55:10-11
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. John 15:7-8
Generous Provider, you give us all we need to grow in faith, love, and hope. We are sustained by your heavenly waters and the love of your Son, who rescues us from darkness and sin. May our words and deeds bear fruit by bringing those in need to you. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
