God said to Solomon, “Because you have not asked for yourself long life or riches, or for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, I now do according to your word.” 1 Kings 3:11-12
Strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33
God, many times we come to you with our wishes and desires. Today we come to you with a simple prayer: let us strive first for the kingdom of God. Amen.
