Tuesday, July 7 — Psalm 82:5–8
Deuteronomy 15:19–17:7; Luke 7:39–50

I had said in my alarm, ‘I am driven far from your sight.’ But you heard my supplications when I cried out to you for help. Psalm 31:22

Bartimaeus son of Timaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the roadside. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many sternly ordered him to be quiet. Jesus stood still and said, “Call him here.” Mark 10:46-48,49

O great Healer, let us always reach for you in times of trouble and sickness. Heal our hearts, bodies, and minds. Thank you for your great mercy and everlasting love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
