Tuesday, June 24 — Psalm 78:40–55
Isaiah 6,7; Galatians 4:17–27
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Jesus said to Peter, “Very truly, I tell you, when you were younger, you used to fasten your own belt and to go wherever you wished. But when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will fasten a belt around you and take you where you do not wish to go.” John 21:18
When we find ourselves in times of trouble, Lord, we find it hard to discern your plans for us. We take comfort knowing that you, the one true creator, grant us a future of hope. Let us hear your call, Lord. Amen.
