Jesus Christ received honor and glory from God the Father when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, my Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.” 2 Peter 1:17
Lord Jesus, as God’s beloved son, you were obedient this holy week. You followed God’s will to the cross, giving your life for all. May we be obedient to our heavenly Father, that he be well pleased with us. Amen.
