Hoping against hope, Abraham believed that he would become “the father of many nations.” Romans 4:18
God of Abraham, you made a covenant that you kept when you claimed us as your people. Abraham had a great faith and believed you, even through his advancing age. May we be equally faithful as we promise to keep your word within our hearts and minds. Amen.
