Tuesday, November 25 — Psalm 133
1 Kings 16:15-17:24; John 18:12-24

See, O Lord, how distressed I am; my heart is wrung within me, because I have been very rebellious. Lamentations 1:20

The tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, “God, be merciful to me, a sinner!” Luke 18:13

Lord, in each of us you see a follower and a rebel. We look to you for hope and guidance so we may rebel against the darkness in the world and follow—and share—the light of your loving grace. In this we humbly pray. Amen.
