Tuesday, October 31 — Psalm 119:113–120
Ezekiel 36:8–38; 1 Peter 4

We have all become like one who is unclean and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy cloth. Isaiah 64:6

Jesus said, “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly, bring out a robe—the best one—and put it on him.’” Luke 15:21-22

We fall short in every way, O Lord. We sin every day. Your mercy, Father, is unbounded, and through the sacrifice of your one and only son, Jesus, you forgive us time and time again. Through your Spirit, empower us to go and sin no more. Amen.
