Wednesday, April 16 — Psalm 50:7–15
Job 21; 1 Corinthians 2:3–16

As for mortals, their days are like grass; they flourish like a flower of the field; for the wind passes over it, and it is gone. But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. Psalm 103:15-16,17

For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:53 NIV

Dear everlasting God, as we walk through Holy Week with Christ, we thank you for your willing and immeasurable sacrifice, your constant presence among us, and your ever- moving Holy Spirit. Unite us, the body of Christ, in your coming kingdom. Amen.
