Thus said the Lord, “Do not let the wise boast in their wisdom, do not let the mighty boast in their might, do not let the wealthy boast in their wealth; but let those who boast in this, that they understand and know me.” Jeremiah 9:23-24
What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? Luke 9:25 NIV
Holy God, drive us toward the peace of your reign. Prevent us from seeking comfort at the cost of any individual of your creation, that we all would learn to live in liberty together with you forever. Amen.
