Indeed, since that day I am he; there is no one who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can hinder it? Isaiah 43:13

So let no one boast about people. For all things are yours, and you are Christ’s, and Christ is 1 Corinthians 3:21,23

O Lord our Lord, how long will we insist on finding meaning and purpose in the things of this world? Move us, we ask, to break out of our struggles and simply turn to your son Jesus, listening to the one who is the way, the truth, and the life. In his name, we pray. Amen.
