It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. John 6:63
O Lord and Spirit, we thank you for giving us your words of life. As we hear them read or spoken, as we silently read and study them, give us the wisdom to interpret and understand them so that we may, through the Spirit’s leading, bring harmony and life to our communities. Amen.
