The gardener said to the owner of the vineyard, “Sir, let it alone for one more year, until I dig around it and put manure on it. If it bears fruit next year, well and good, but if not, you can cut it down.” Luke 13:8-9
Gracious Lord, you are gracious and merciful to us and slow to anger. Your love for us never changes and you desire your best for us. Help us to be like you: slow to anger, gracious, merciful, and abounding in love. In your name, we pray. Amen.
