The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, in your name even the demons submit to us!” Jesus said to them, “Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:17-18,20
Lord of the journey, we are but travelers in this world below. Though we may walk far from earthly homes, we know that we always have a home with you in heaven. Guide us safely through our wanderings and welcome us upon our return with joy. Amen.
