The Lord has sent me to provide for those who mourn in Zion — to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. Isaiah 61:1,3
Christ says, “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
O great Healer, help us to come to you with our brokenness and not take refuge in our false sense of strength. Help us to bring our burdens to you and not keep them to ourselves. Amen.
