As we jump into 2019, I want to take the first month of the year to focus on being grateful. Each week this month we will hear from different members of the Moravian community and their ideas on gratefulness. Practicing gratitude each day can have huge impacts on your physical and mental health, not to mention that it can have an impact on your relationship with God. Throughout 2019 we will walk through both scientific and theologic thoughts on gratitude. We are thankful to be able to spend this time reflecting with you!
Each day this week write down 3 small things you are thankful for during the day!
Mine today are:
- Being able to go to the YMCA
- An exceptionally tasty breakfast
- Gas in my fuel tank to get where I need to go
You are my God, and I will give thanks to you;
you are my God; I will extol you.
This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
