Saturday, June 25 — Psalm 78:56-64
Deuteronomy 3; Luke 4:31–44

Know then in your heart that as a parent disciplines a child so the Lord your God disciplines you. Deuteronomy 8:5

Jesus said, “I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you.” John 13:15

God, we have often strayed from your presence, but in your infinite love and compassion, you gently lead us back to you. At times, your discipline seems harsh, but without such discipline where would we be? We thank you for the interest you have in us. Amen.
