Turn my eyes from looking at vanities. Psalm 119:37

Your eye is the lamp of your body. If your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light, but if it is unhealthy, your body is full of darkness. Luke 11:34

Tender God, teach us to turn from the vanities that seek to dim our light. Turn us toward you and the duty you have laid before us—to be an example of Christ in the world. Let our love for you be greater than any desire we may be holding. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
