Happening now! MDR (Moravian Disaster Response) in action!
As this is posted, the boxes of medical supplies in the photo are being loaded onto boats to travel across a lagoon on their way to several different areas across La Mosquitia, Honduras.
Donations to the MDR program have helped fund this large effort to respond to medical and COVID related needs in the area. Thanks to all who donated, helped coordinate purchases and shipping, as well as the faithful folks in Honduras now doing the final distribution.
For those familiar with the region, the areas being served include: Brus Laguna; Ahuas; Puerto Lempira; Wampusirpi; and Belen / Palacios.
