Volunteer Spotlight – Lucas Lindow

Lucas Lindow, a small business owner from Baileys Harbor, WI, completed his third trip to Ahuas in March. “Why do I keep coming back? I think it’s pretty straightforward – It feels like home.” A few years ago, Lucas had a conversation with his pastor, James Gomez, about how important he feels it is to live out his Christian values through service. Bean Harvest Spotlight
After nine months of heavy rains and flooding in the La Mosquitia region of Honduras and Nicaragua, the most recent harvest felt like a distant memory. The Board of World Mission was receiving many reports of families living on one meal per day and often surviving on fish that they were able to catch from the riverbanks. Donation Spotlight – Care Packages
Thank you to those who sent money to help bless families in need. Lendicia and Tomasa helped select families that were in need of the most help. Along with Theresa Marx, they bought and delivered gifts of rice, beans, shortening, candles, sugar, coffee, salt to these families. Eleven families were blessed in Paptalaya and Krupunta….
