Our siblings in Jamaica have sent us photos (see below) of the extensive damage caused by Hurricane Beryl in July. Moravian Disaster Response funds will be used for emergency supplies (food, tarps, etc.) as well as reconstruction at the Moravian college, church buildings, and homes of church members.Thanks to your support of our disaster response efforts, we have sent over $15,000 in aid. We will continue to transfer funds as they are received.
We are grateful to HMH, the Moravian mission agency in Germany, and ZZg, the Moravian mission agency in the Netherlands, who are partnering with us in these efforts!
