The first Thursday in September is the Board of World Mission’s Day of Prayer for our Moravian siblings in Costa Rica. The Moravian Church in Costa Rica was founded in 1940 and is a full Unity Province of the Moravian Church. There are Spanish, English, and Miskito congregations in Costa Rica, and Moravian churches can be found in San José and Limón.
Br. Leopoldo Pixley, Provincial President of the Moravian Church in Costa Rica has asked that we pray for their province, especially for their congregations, pastors, acolytes, provincial board, local boards, Christian Education ministries, women’s groups, day care, and their other projects.
