We are excited to introduce our interns for the summer of 2025… Hilda Cieza-Regalado and Emmaleigh Rein! Hilda and Emmaleigh will be present with the BWM at several camps and convos this summer, and will also help with lots of our “background tasks” like sharing our global partners’ stories, creating and organizing congregational resources, and more.
Emmaleigh Rein grew up at Ebenezer Moravian Church in Watertown, WI, and is currently studying Health Sciences with an emphasis in Diagnostic Medical Sonography at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI. Emmaleigh shared that she is looking forward to learning a lot through this opportunity: “Growing up in the Moravian community, I have always felt an immense amount of love and support from everyone within it, and I wish to continue spreading it.”
Hilda Cieza-Regalado grew up at Friedland Moravian Church in Winston Salem, NC, and is studying Architecture at UNC Charlotte. She is passionate about building spaces, both physical and emotional, where people feel seen, supported, and safe. In the past, she has worked with different youth programs, which deepened my love for creating environments where young people can grow and feel empowered. Whether she’s filming creative vlogs, exploring hidden nature trails, or diving into conversations about culture and identity, Hilda is always looking for new ways to connect with others and grow together. “I’m excited to be a BWM intern this summer because I believe in the power of community and connection, especially when it’s rooted in empathy and shared purpose.”
