The Rev. Dr. Betsy Miller recently attended the Synod of the British Province as a Unity Representative. Sr. Roberta Hoey, Chair of the Provincial Board, greeted members of the synod. Delegates approved the interchangeability of Moravian ministers and ministers of the Church of Ireland, the culmination of years of ecumenical dialogue. Members also approved a powerful statement of inclusivity (see below) and heard a variety of reports, including Project 32, a 10-year initiative of experimentation and renewal in the lead-up to the 300th anniversary of the sending of the first missionaries from Herrnhut.
