Sister Betsy Miller represented the Moravian Church in America at the Churchwide Assembly of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) held in Columbus, Ohio. It was a delight to gather in person to share in legislative sessions and fellowship with ecumenical colleagues. The event’s theme was “Embody the Word” in recognition of the incarnation of Jesus as well as the life of the church emerging from the pandemic.
The Northern and Southern Provinces of the Moravian Church have been in full communion with the ELCA since 1999.
