Esperanza for Bethlehem Receives Certificate of Occupancy

On April 30th, Esperanza for Bethlehem celebrated the receipt of their Certificate of Occupancy, which allows them to fully use their church building. The service of celebration included songs of praise, greetings from various church leaders, and the account of the journey of Esperanza for Bethlehem that led them to their current location. PEC President Betsy Miller brought greetings on behalf of the denomination; Rev. Dan Miller brought greetings on behalf of Bethlehem Area Moravians, and Pastor Joseph Gray of the neighboring Holy Bethel Pentecostal Church highlighted the shared Food Bank ministry that will start up in Esperanza’s lower level. Today, Pastors Tracy and Rhonda Robinson, along with a host of volunteers, are excited to re-open their after-school program to the children from the nearby elementary school. Please join us in holding Esperanza in prayer as they make use of this new opportunity to expand their faithful ministry.
