The Bishops of the Moravian Church, Northern Province, acknowledge the importance of the upcoming election and the concern and anxiety that individuals are feeling no matter the outcome of the election.
We are uncertain as to when the final results of the election will be determined and the next President will be declared. Therefore, we encourage our congregations to consider making their Sanctuary available for prayer after Election Day.
We remind the church that no matter who wins the election as President, we will celebrate Jesus as the Chief Elder of our Moravian Church on November 13th. Jesus is our Lord, Savior, and the ultimate foundation of our faith, love, and hope. Our highest allegiance is always to Him.
