From May 2024 through January 2025 the leadership body of the Moravian Church of the Southern Province (MCSP) – the Provincial Elders Conference (PEC) and Provincial staff – conducted a 360 review of itself in order to assess its progress and guide its future activities during the remainder of the 2022 – 2026, quadrennial. Grounded in commitment to shared ownership of the process, several ministry professionals and lay members as well as PEC members and staff co-created an online survey (to which any and all members of the MCSP community were welcome to respond) and analyzed the responses.
Individual congregations are encouraged to reflect – and act – on the implications of what we have learned for your own ministries.
Overall, this review process has confirmed that the MCSP community of lay members, ministry professionals, PEC members, and Provincial staff are eager to learn, grow, and take action together as we seek to live out what and who we want to be in today’s world.
