Framing Faith Formation
When we’re thinking about how we come together as people of faith to practice our discipleship in the world, the five themes from this article feel right on target – we are called to be creative, active, working to build deep friendships, hosted well by creating space to be at our best, and are called to be discerning about what we can really do well. Whether you’re a fan of the Great British Bake Off or not, these observations about why many of us are drawn to the human interactions of this show speak to something about what Christian community is called to be with and for one another. What might happen if we seek to actively and intentionally cultivate these 5 ways of being in our congregations?
