1 Chronicles 19,20; Acts 14:21–15:5

The Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Isaiah 60:19

Jesus said, “And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. I have come as light into the world, so that
everyone who believes in me should not remain in the darkness.” John 12:45-46

You are light, O God, the gift by which we see. You come to brighten the darkness, to help us to turn toward you. As plants follow the sun’s rays, help us to follow your light. Help us to show your glory in the world. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
