At the 2024 Synod of the Moravian Church Northern Province, Western District, delegates elected the Rev. Jason Andersen as the president of the Western District Executive Board (WDEB). Jason currently serves as pastor of Christian Faith Moravian Church in DeForest, Wisconsin.
As president of the WDEB, Jason will serve as the chair of the Western District Executive Board and will serve as a member of the Northern Province Provincial Elders’ Conference. Outgoing president the Rev. Bruce Nelson, who had held the role since 2016, will conclude his term in June.
Other members of the WDEB elected at synod are the Rev. Marian Boyle Rohloff, pastor of West Side Moravian Church in Green Bay, WI; the Rev. Kerry Krauss, pastor of Sister Bay Moravian Church in Sister Bay, WI; Br. Steve Heroux from Watertown Moravian Church in Watertown, WI; Ivy Summers from West Side Moravian Church in Green Bay, WI; Linda Schaefer from Sister Bay Moravian Church in Sister Bay, WI; and JoAnn Keller from Hope Moravian Church in Hope, IN. The incoming WDEB elected at Synod will be installed on Sunday, April 28.
