The Conference of National Black Churches (CNBC) 2023 National Consultation was held last week in Orlando, Florida. Those gathered were guided by the theme “Coming Out of Darkness, Finding Light: The Black Church Responding to the Continuing Pain of the Pandemic” as they discussed health equity, reparations, criminal justice reform, education, and more. The Moravian Church was represented at the consultation by the Rev. Sue Koenig, Director of Racial Justice and Healing for the Moravian Church Northern Province.
