The Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone.” Genesis 2:18
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing beside her, he said to his mother, “Woman, here is your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home. John 19:26-27
Holy Lord, as John took Mary into his own home, may we embrace everyone as family. May we be there for one another and provide love and support to all, regardless of who they are. Amen.
