The Lord gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night; he stirs up the sea so that its waves roar. Jeremiah 31:35
For us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist. 1 Corinthians 8:6
We praise you, our true God, for the creation around us and the life it brings. We exist through you and for you. May the way we live be our response to the gift of life you give. Amen.
