Monday, August 29 — Psalm 104:10-18
Judges 9:34–10:18; Luke 20:27–40

Rise up, O God, plead your cause. Psalm 74:22

God has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ, as a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth. Ephesians 1:9-10

Righteous and mysterious God, we bow before you seeking your mercy. Thank you for the gift of your son who came to live among us, to lead us to you, and to provide the way to you through his life, death, and resurrection. Amen.
