Monday, May 29 — Psalm 69:22–29
Proverbs 20; 2 Corinthians 3:12–4:6

“The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,” says the Lord of hosts. Haggai 2:8

Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common. Acts 4:32

All that we have is really from you, Lord. Help us offer the first fruits of everything to you. We intentionally choose to be selfless and cheerful givers instead of selfish and cheerless hoarders of what we think we should have to live an abundant life. Help us and our fellow Christians meet the needs of the communities we live in. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
