Paul said: “Last night there stood by me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship, and he said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before the emperor; and indeed, God has granted safety to all those who are sailing with you.’” Acts 27:23–24
God of might and strength, impart your power to us this day. When we face chaos and uncertainty, hold us close. When speech is required of us, give us the words you would have us say. When action is required of us, give us the wisdom and strength to act. Let us go forth, confident of your help and presence. Amen.
