Gracious God, we need you every hour, especially in times of great temptation. May we turn to you, Lord, to fill us with your peace, rather than our filling ourselves with things that tempt us and test our strength. Lord, please be close during these times of struggle, for it is you who strengthens us during our times of need. In your Son’s holy name, we pray. Amen.
